Two weeks and counting…

It’s been two weeks since my sister left town with the Sucre tour… and man am I missing her. While she’s off having adventures in California, Arizona and now Texas; I’m at home. Living it up. But missing her pretty bad. Here’s what I’ve been up to lately: got some yellow put into the tips of my hair (that washed out pretty fast!), seeing some progress with my little herbs, learned to use the industrial sewing machine, a coffee date to catch up with my cousin and the big adventure has been building my back yard fire pit (project #18 of my 2012 craft challenge!). I have also been baking, working, watching copious amounts of The Walking Dead (getting caught up) but mostly missing my sister. Mostly.

Love you Elsie. Come home soon. (Jeremy—you’re pretty cool too.)

Oh gosh, I love the walking dead! Did you watch last season’s finale yet? I can’t believe I have to wait until october for new episodes. Who is your favorite character? I think Daryl is gross but pretty awesome at the same time.

I love all the creative pics of how you’re spending the time while she’s gone. My sister is my best friend so I know that “have fun but hurry back” feeling. Hang in there!

emma, i must really be slow. i thought you were both on the trip together, duh me, yet again. you gotta admit the fire pit thing is pretty rad though, & you’re crossing off your to do list at lightening speed. do you think you’ll do the yellow tips again, or a new color?

It’s nice that you have a close relationship with your sister and I’m sure she appreciates that you can hold the fort down at the shop while she’s gone. I’m close to my sister too. Hang in there.

That fire pit looks awesome. Great memories to be made around it this summer, I bet! I’m glad that Instagram is on Android now and I can follow you since you don’t have twitter or anything. It’s nice to see what you’re up to in a super noncreepy nonstalkery way.

Aww, what a sweet post! Your hair looks fab. And what is the meal in the last pic? Some sort of hotdog? YUM.

Aw that’s so sweet. My sister and I are super close too and we currently live in different states, so I feel your pain! I’ve just been ADDICTED to The Walking Dead for the past two weeks and just finished it. So good!

The Walking Dead is my guilty pleasure!

Esmee April 20, 2012 at 6:57 pm

awww that’s so cute :) ! Seems like youve been plenty busy and time will fly and before you’ll know it she’ll be back :) !!!

I know how you feel. I own a company with my cousin who lives right down my street. We are attached at the hip. Since we are both an only child we are like sisters. It’s totally crap when she’s away or we don’t see eachother every day! It’s super inspiring to ready your blog, and Elise’s blog (and my hunsband and son is super happy too since I bake and make yummy stuff all the time after dicovering your blog!).

I’m gonna buy the Dream Job e-course in the near future, and I am sure it will inspire us to do even more great things with our company! :) Have a sweet sunday :)

I miss my sis, too. I’m the one that left, for South America, but I don’t like being so far from her! Love your collage. :)
