Hot chocolate with marshmallows is da bomb.
What? Nobody says the ‘da bomb’ anymore? Freddie Prince Jr. is not Hollywood’s #1 heart-throb? Jnco jeans aren’t even a thing now?
Whatevs.
Back to my love of hot chocolate…. Wouldn’t it be grand to eat hot chocolate? I mean I know you can drink it, slurp it, let it warm your hands through a mug. But sometimes I just want to chew and savor things. You know?
Oh, you don’t? Well….
Then just look at the picture above. Looks tasty, right? Yeah. That’s what I’m talking about.
Hot Chocolate Bites, makes 10-12 small pastries.
Needed: 1 sheet of puff pastry, 1/2 bag dark or semi-sweet chocolate chips, a few marshmallows (mini if you can find them), 2 tablespoons butter and 2 tablespoons water.
Cut the puff pastry into squares. Fold a few chocolate chips and a few marshmallows up into each square. Bake at 350 F for 15-22 minutes. While those are baking, in a sauce pan over low heat combine the butter, water and about 2 handfuls of chocolate chips to make the hot chocolate sauce.
After the pastries are done, drizzle sauce over them and top with a few more marshmallows. Enjoy!

This….is just simply amazing. I’m too in awe to say much more
I’m gonna make this. TODAY. (or maybe this weekend)
This is a sweet idea! I love hot chocolate, it’s one of my favourite things about France, they make it so well – dark, not sweet, and thick. Bought myself an expensive pot of it, off to have a try now this has made me want some !
Oh my, this leaves me drooling… Thanks for sharing, that really is one sweet idea!
Here’s to a happy weekend.
these sound amazing! can’t wait to try them.

I’ll say it – da bomb! Nice!
have you ever thought of combining your recipes into a cookbook? silly me, of course you have. people probably ask you that everyday, at the red velvet cupcake shop.
