Lace and Aztec Print

by Emma on September 1, 2011

in Outfits

I’m pretty sure when I bought this bag it was called something like, “Aztec Tote.” Wether or not it has anything to do with true Aztec culture is beyond me.

Just wanted to clear the air. Get that out in the open. I feel much better.

I make no sense.

I bought this back-pack/purse in a summer sale, with intentions to use it as my autumn purse.

I’m a planner. And, apparently, not very in tune with the seasons. But I think this purse looks autumn-esque. It’s made of an itchy fabric, that’s a cold weather thing for sure.

I liked the unexpected blend of lace, pleats and “Aztec” print in this outfit. I don’t usually see all those elements blended together.

Of course, that could be because they don’t go together.

But if that’s the case… well… just don’t tell me.

I’m wearing: top is vintage, skirt and shoes were thrifted, purse is from UO.

Hope your having a lovely September 1st!

xo. Emma

Do you curl your hair to get it pretty and wispy on the ends? Or is that just au naturale? Positively Lovely!

Emma September 2, 2011 at 10:40 pm

Curl and lots of hair spray. But thanks for thinking it might be natural. ;)
